"I Don't Like My Hair Down"

That's what I said today as my daddy was taking me to the playground and before I knew it we were at Lulu's getting my haircut. It's like one minute we'll be doing one thing and before you know it, the next minute we're doing another. I like it - it keeps me on my toes. So remember last time I got my haircut? Yeah, I wasn't all that happy with the decision. It's not that I didn't want to lose my hair, just the whole process of sitting in the chair, sitting still, wearing the smock. Not so much my style. Well not anymore because I was the best kid in the lot today at Lulu's. You had one kid on my left crying over this and another kid on my right crying over that but not me! Acting like a big boy here in LANDEN'S WORLD!

Don't Mind If I Do

We were waiting for mama and baby Lauren to join us for lunch today so we skipped across the street to see what all the buzz was about in front of this store. Would you believe they had trains to play with right in front? Well believe! Believe! I was just as shocked. I stepped right up and helped myself. Guess it's a good thing Szechuan Delight opens thirty minutes later on Sundays.

Trains on 7th Ave.
Did I tell you I've taken up a new sport? Bowling is so cool. Sometimes I get all excited and throw the ball really hard down the lane. Other times I like to take my time and gently roll the ball towards the pins.

Bowling
I find the second way to be more fun because it makes the game last longer. Plus, I get to laugh at dada when he has to walk down the lane and pick up my ball.

More Bowling
Oh and let me not forgot to mention this - they did it again. This time around though I didn't need any help because I knew it was time - I kept having to wipe the hair out of my eyes. Getting my haircut in LANDEN'S WORLD!

They Did It Again!

Okay, the first time I went along with it because it was something new. Besides, what did I know? I'm a trusting young lad and if mama and dada want me to sit down in a weird chair and look at the TV, hey that's okay with me. But the second time around I knew exactly what they were trying to do. They were going to take my hair again! I was not about to let that happen, however, dada was there to comfort me and he let me sit on his lap while the lady did her thing. I think dada knows he's going to have to sit with me each time I get my haircut from now on.

L Getting Haircut
What do you think? Not a bad job but I do miss my curls. Well the next day it was business as usual around here with lunch out and a day at the playground. For lunch I nibbled on cheese sticks but highlight was one of my favorites - a plain bagel with cream cheese.

Eating My Bagel
Off to the playground. Have I mentioned how much I like the playground? There's so much to do and I'm almost always going to find a ball or a bike to play with. This time around I decided to step it up a notch and play on some of the more advanced equipment. I know it's advanced because dada and mama get up off the bench when I walk over to it. I always know I'm into something good when they stop what they're doing and take notice.

Playground Fun
Well, do you know what tomorrow is? The boxes are starting to pile up at our front door. Cards are gathering on the kitchen table and they're all addressed to me. Sure you don't want to guess whose birthday is one wake-up away? Counting down the minutes here in LANDEN'S WORLD!

They Took My Hair!

It's not so much the chair I had to sit in - it had a fun steering wheel and I got to play with bubbles. It's not so much the random lady who was doing it - she was funny and let me take an extra lollipop. It's not so much the time I had to wait - I got to avoid my afternoon nap. It's the fact that after she was done cutting my hair, I didn't get to keep it. It's my hair! What gives? If this is how all haircuts are going to be, then count me out.

L's First Haircut
So I have this green bucket. Dadda bought me some blocks and they came in this green bucket. One day I dumped the blocks out, looked at the bucket, and thought why not plop myself down and have a read. So I did. It was the perfect fit. That's what's new in LANDEN'S WORLD!
